Manual ID details remain available as a fallback. In this prototype, selected ID images and the raw ID number are not uploaded or saved. When the verification provider is connected, ID images and numbers will go directly to that provider rather than ordinary MechanicNow storage.

Every customer and mechanic must provide government-issued identification details for verification. Mechanics also require mechanic verification before receiving real customer jobs. Account authentication is secured through Supabase. Raw government ID numbers are not stored in browser storage, Auth metadata, or the MechanicNow database.
